The American Dahlia Society (ADS) comprises over 70 local societies throughout the US and Canada. Each year the Mid Island Dahlia Society (MIDS) hosts a Dahlia Exhibition Show for two days in September to display the best blooms grown by growers in the tristate area. The show is an official ADS event where blooms are judged and prizes awarded.  This event is always one of the most beautiful shows the association participates in and is a major event for the group.
